Do you offer bespoke veils?

Yes! Every veil is handcrafted to tell your unique story. Whether it’s personalised embroidery, heirloom lace, or a completely custom design, I’d love to bring your vision to life.  

How do I start the process for a custom veil?

Simply get in touch via the [contact form] or email enquiries@madeleinedaisy.com. We’ll discuss your ideas, fabrics, and any sentimental details you’d like to incorporate.  

How long does it take to make a veil?

Each veil is made by hand with great care. Shop veils take up to 5 weeks, while fully bespoke veils can take 6-12 weeks depending on complexity. I always recommend ordering as early as possible.  

Can you customise the shop veils?

Yes! We can tailor your veil to match your vision. Get in touch with us to discuss your ideas and receive a quote.

Can you match my dress lace?

I’ll do my best! If you send a swatch or detailed photos, I can source a lace that complements your gown beautifully.  

Do you offer personal embroidery?

Yes! I offer a wide range of personal embroidery options including digital and by hand. I can embroider initials, wedding dates, meaningful quotes, or even tiny floral details to make your veil extra special.

Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes! I ship worldwide with tracked delivery. Shipping times and costs vary depending on your location—please see the checkout page for details.  UK shipping is free.

How is my veil packaged?

Each veil is carefully wrapped in tissue paper and sent in a box to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.  

 Do you accept rush orders?

If you need your veil sooner, please get in touch before ordering. I’ll do my best to accommodate, but a rush fee may apply. 

Returns

Can I return my veil if I change my mind?

As each veil is made to order, I’m unable to accept returns. However, if there’s an issue with your order, please reach out as soon as possible.  

Can I make changes after placing an order? 

If your veil hasn’t been started yet, I may be able to make adjustments. Contact me as soon as possible, and I’ll see what I can do!

Caring for Your Veil

 How should I store my veil before the wedding?  

Keep it in its original box, away from direct sunlight, moisture, or strong odours. Closer to your wedding, hang it in a breathable garment bag to let any wrinkles fall out.  

How do I clean my veil after the wedding? 

For light marks, spot-clean gently with a mild detergent and cool water. For deep cleaning, I recommend a professional specialist, especially for delicate lace and embroidery.  

Can my veil be passed down as an heirloom?

Absolutely! My veils are designed to be cherished for generations. If you’d like to incorporate an heirloom veil into a new design, I’d love to help bring it back to life.

Alterations Service 

What type of alterations do you offer?

We offer a range of alterations, predominantly bridal, bridesmaid, prom and occasion wear – but we always try to accommodate anything! Services include hemming, taking in or letting out garments, resizing, zipper replacements, and custom tailoring.

How long do alterations take?

Turnaround time depends on the complexity of the alteration. Simple fixes like hemming may take 3-5 days, while more detailed work, such as bridal gown alterations, may require 4-6 weeks. If you need a rush order, please contact us to check availability.
